Content Marketing otherwise known as non-interruption marketing is essentially creating valuable, relevant and consistent content for your consumers that will engage and create awareness about your brand.
GET THE MOST FROM YOUR SURVEY MARKETING
Online survey marketing is a great way to get feedback from your customers or survey respondents and by conducting online surveys, you can collect data and insights that can help you improve your products, services, and marketing strategies.
There are many benefits to using online surveys as a marketing tool such as them being cost effective being able to send them to a large audience in a very short space of time and allowing you to target specific demographics and collect data quickly and efficiently.
Furthermore, surveys also provide businesses with valuable insights into customer behaviour and preferences and by understanding what customers want and need, businesses can tailor their products and services to better suit those needs. As a result this increased level of customer satisfaction can lead to improved sales and brand loyalty. That all sound like a win win right? So how do we design an effective marketing survey?
- Have a goal
Before you start designing your survey you need to know what you want to achieve with it. For example you could be looking to gauge customer satisfaction levels or feedback on a new product launch. If you are clear with your goal you’ll be in a good position to target your questions and ensure the survey is relevant to your audience.
- Be precise
It’s important that you keep your questionnaire short and to the point. People have busy lives with commitments and do not want to spend a lot of time completing a long questionnaire. Therefore, make sure your survey is concise and easy to answer.
- Be clear with language
Make sure that you use clear and concise language and that your questions are easy to understand. Try to avoid any jargon wherever possible.
- Have a good layout
The layout of your survey can play a large part in its effectiveness. Therefore, make sure that the layout is visually appealing and that the questions are easy to read. Furthermore, test your survey on different devices to ensure that it looks good and is easily understandable on different screen sizes.
- Test it!
Make sure you test your survey before you launch it. You can initially do this with a small group of people and will ensure that you can identify any problems and that your respondents are answering your questions as you want them to.
Designing an effective marketing survey can be a challenging task but if its structured correctly with clear goals, content and visually appealing you are half-way there! As a finishing point always thank your respondents for feedback and ensure any additional points or calls to action that they may have included are followed up.
Content marketing is really like a first date. If all you do is talk about yourself, there won’t be a second date.
