BRIEF: To create an online platform to improve how people interact with the MSA.
Challenge
The lack of functionality of the current members website only allows a small proportion of the transactions that take place daily with the MSA being available online. Marshals and Officials are unable to renew their licences online which leads to the licencing department processing many paper applications. Clubs can currently create/manage/pay for permits online, however not all clubs do, and the challenge is to drive this traffic to the website.
Results
A user will login to the MSA site and be able to manage all activities, this will include Licence Management & Club activities including raising permits from a single account. Should they also have their own racing vehicle, a passport for the vehicle can be requested and delivered electronically as well as physically. All other areas, currently managed separately will be incorporated into our new CRM system and this information will then be available online to increase how many transactions a user can do through the website, minimising the processing being done by MSA staff and improving accuracy and efficiency of what we do.
