Gatecrasher - Coventry Cathedral

Saturday August 18th

 

One of the world’s biggest clubbing names is coming to Coventry Cathedral. From 4pm until 2am experience a fusion of classical and dance music against a stunning backdrop. There will be a prosecco and cider bar and food outlets. You can sign up for early bird tickets here.

Godiva Festival - Memorial Park

Friday 31st August - 2nd September

 Coventry Godiva Festival is billed as the UK’s biggest free family music festival and is now in its 20th year! Based in the city’s historic War Memorial Park, the three-day event offers great live music, family entertainment, international food and drink, craft village and children’s fun fair!

Organised by Coventry City Council with the support of partners, the festival prides itself on offering the best of Coventry and Warwickshire backed up by top national artists and performers.  This year will see artist's including Jake Bugg, Ronan Keating, Gabrielle, Jonas Blue, Professor Green,  Rae Morris and Kyle Falconer with plenty of further acts to be announced. The Arts

 

There is a range of arts and literature events going on at community centers around Coventry. Check out the masterclass in short story writing or poetry from around the world on the City of Culture events page. The range of events have been created in line with winning the City of Culture 2021 and are a great way to encourage and celebrate creativity in the city.

 

Comedy

 

The Tin

Saturday 4th August 7.00pm-9.30pm

 

The Tin in Coventry is tucked away at Coventry Canal basin and has some great arts and community events. Nestled by the canal, you can enjoy a few drinks outside watching the world go by whilst listening to some great comedy acts. The Positive Images event mixes poetry and comedy and is free.
